Though a wood stain would’ve been an awesome look for it, the amount of work restoring it to an acceptable look, as you said, would take too much effort. Still, the current works as well, and not being overly bright really adds to the charm.Sol Hendrickshttp://www.diamondcompanies.net/about-us/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2451342772710856796.post-39509998630540007302013-05-09T15:52:58.039-04:002013-05-09T15:52:58.039-04:00The floor looks great and the curtain is a nice to...The floor looks great and the curtain is a nice touch. That should help keep the weather away from that direction. Would like to see how it turns out after you’ve finished putting back the furniture.

KeatonKeaton Oakeshttp://www.elementshomeremodeling.com/exterior-remodeling/deck-builders-northern-virginia-porches-patios/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2451342772710856796.post-17490881839006469272013-04-01T16:48:09.937-04:002013-04-01T16:48:09.937-04:00That is a lot of big nails...

In those rare instances when we get more than a normal amount of water I can easily mop it up if needed.

If I am proven totally wrong on this and the porch becomes a small lake, I'll reopen the drain. When I covered it I used easily reversible attachments—caulk and screws—knowing that I may, one day, have to make it an open drain, again. I guess then Ill figure out how to pay for a new metal drain, as well as how to fit it in without tearing up the floor.the Joshua Shively House Profilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09509326124836958843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2451342772710856796.post-51120147938993712572012-10-14T10:36:23.716-04:002012-10-14T10:36:23.716-04:00How are you draining the water off the porch ?
